17:34:39 <carina> A reminder from the last meeting, we applied to the Technion University and received a good quote from the dormitory office, on the condition that the event be a "faculty event".
17:35:13 <carina> We received a similar answer from Faculty of Computer Science and other offices at the Technion University, that it would be best to first exhaust the possibility of a "faculty event" (that is, the management of the conference will be on behalf of a specific faculty)
17:35:31 <carina> And the computer science faculty itself stated that they prefer for a professor/researcher from the cs department who will take responsibility as the "organizer of the event".
17:35:46 <carina> Before the holidays I was told that they are looking into it and that  currently the professors are hesitant to commit, some of them because of possible schedule conflicts.
17:36:05 <carina> The holiday break ended only this week, so we are waiting for an answer.
